After a fun week at Winter X Games in Aspen, CO, Red Bull's Pat Moore is heading out into the backcountry for the next week with the Forum Snowboards crew as they jump into the backcountry to keep shooting for their new film. This is huge after Pat took a brutal fall during the King of Quarters contest at Aspen. Pat is all healed up and ready to shred.

Pat Moore is having quite a year. He's getting magazine covers and crazy coverage, he's riding his own pro model board, getting interviews, and even turned 21.

All kinds of madness is going down. Shit moves fast when you ride this hard and work off the hill just as hard. Pat is already shredding the slopes on his new 2009 Forum Pro Model board, which features real Slayer graphics. Sounds evil, right? It is.

For the past two weeks I have been splitboarding and hiking to avoid the holiday crowds. So I have been hiking with my friend Mule  up some of our favorite bowls, to slash the great white wave and get a better perspective on the snow pack.

I love the early season. Spent the day lapping in Breckenridge, CO and trying to get the pipe legs back for the season. The Grand Prix is in town, which means most of the guys are in town too. The pipe was pretty good and the sun was out, felt like a perfect day in Colorado. Today is cloudy and looks like some snow is in the air. Here are a few pics from just cruising around yesterday.
