Red Bull Goes...Big In Japan!

IMG_1224.jpgFoggy morning in LA, the kind of morning that makes everyone late. Late for work, for coffee. The thick mists from the east were already greeting us blanketing the coast with soup.

Flight time was set for 11am a non-stop LA to Tokyo and the crew was already looking like the weather was taking them down. Canceled flights, delays, mechanical problems and then traffic.

It was going to be tight Shaun was on his was from LA and the Cabby was told to get him there...
He had 30 min to make his flight. From breakfast to out the door and running, the cab was on the move. The clock was ticking and no one knew if he would make it. 10 min out and he is running, guitar in hand running from to the terminal, busting through security and rallying up the stairs arms up, made it just another day. We settled into the seats and laid back. Made it…12 hours til Tokyo

Tokyo:
It was 5:00pm the next day. We had crossed the International Dateline as well as the entire Pacific Ocean, thousand of miles away from home and feeling it. No sleep on the plane and the touchdown in Tokyo hit us like a ton of bricks. We had 12 hrs in Tokyo: Bus ride, to the hotel to the night on the town.

Posting up at Cerulean Towers over looking Shibuya Center, the lights played out like a Hollywood movie. Eyes popping we ran from the hotel straight into Japanese BBQ, drinks, and then the night got long, from there to the dance floor and before we knew it the sun was rising over Tokyo and we were on the next plane bound for Hokkaido…word was Storm of the Centrury!

More coming when the snow stops!
