Shaun White Wins Overall Burton European Open

After winning slopestyle, Shaun came out firing for the finals of the Burton European Open Halfpipe. He came on strong for his second run blasting huge airs and spins. His second run was combed up like a road trip, going huge frontside rodeo 540 off the first hit into a backside 900, linking into back-to-back 1080’s followed by another 900.

Then he finished it with an Alley-Oop McTwist on his last hit. Shaun even stomped a 1260 in his last run of the day. And although his runs were epic, fellow Burton team rider Kevin Pearce ended up taking the win in what was a down to the line battle.

But with that 2nd place finish Shaun was able to take the Overall Burton European Open as a whole clinching the title and a brand new Suzuki car! Not a bad week for Shaun.

From here it is back to the states for the biggest contest of the year...Winter X Games!
